19 miles of trail running this morning. Damn, that burrito I had after was beautiful.
Taught Friday spin. Nice group of ladies. Got plenty of strength work thrown in there and even some pigeon poses. For my beauteous act, I shall make protein fudge this afternoon.
Taught spin with breaks for some strength (countdown 10>1 of squats, dirty dogs, and push-ups) and for core work (burpees, mountain climbers, reverse crunches, plié squats, etc). 3 weeks and 4 days til the trail marathon, so I just keep running. Today, more speedwork on the treadmill. Beautiful act was making biscuits and gravy...for the kids, of course.
Treadmill hill repeats before teaching spin>badassery in spin class (first evening spin class for awhile)>getting the kids home to bed as the shift back to standard time jacks with their circadian rhythms>I'm off to catch up on the Walking Dead.
A beautiful round of granola making with the children earlier today.
Advance apologies for the string of catchup posts.
Taught Tuesday morning spin, then did some strength work. Beautiful act was spending some quality time with my daughter while her brother was at library time with Wifely.
Taught a small but engaged spin class. Threw in a Men's Health dumbbell workout in the middle. Evening time brought the popcorn and family movie night (Lady and the Tramp) for the beautiful win.
Ran a trail race in my "home" state park. Didn't even come close to placing in age group or anything, but had a great run with a great friend. And holy finisher food, they had hot veggie soup, buffalo burgers and Beer! That was beautiful.
Wifely is leaving town today to go do her thing on Jewelry Television (JTV), so I asked my parents to watch the kiddos. They said they'd keep them overnight, so I got an honest-to-goodness rest evening, and a good night's sleep, too. That was also beautiful.
Had to take the little people to tumbling prior to teaching my last outdoor bootcamp of the season. We finally got our cold and windy weather. No snow, though. Since I was there a bit early, I cranked out some miles on the treadmill.
We did our First Annual Pumpkin Fun Run with our camping friends. We were going to do a 5k in a nearby city, but realized between all of our kids it was going to cost hundreds of dollars. Instead, Wifely was the hype-woman and get this, we ordered freaking awesome medals. Who knew it was that easy to be a race director!?
So, since I'd already run 12 miles the day before, I left Wifely run with the fast kids and walked with the 3yo on my shoulders. He complained the whole time about how this was the worst Pumpkin Fun Run Ever. What a grumpy gus.

Taught spin class in the am. And for my beautiful act= I didn't lose my sh!t while packing up all of our camping stuff. It's going to be a cold weekend.
